About the Job

Stella Starship is the cheerful host of a new children's music and adventure series for preschool and early elementary-aged audiences. Curious, kind, and full of energy, Stella travels to exciting themed planets where she discovers new songs, characters, and adventures. We are seeking a warm, engaging female performer who can authentically connect with young children through music, storytelling, and direct-to-camera interaction. Stella should feel like a trusted friend: playful, encouraging, imaginative, and fun. Music is a cornerstone of the series. Candidates should have singing experience, be comfortable learning and performing songs, memorizing dialogue, and improvising naturally. While the show will initially feature pre-written songs, there may be opportunities for the right performer to record vocals and become more creatively involved in the future. Experience working with children as a teacher, nanny, parent, camp counselor, coach, children's entertainer, or similar role is a plus. This role will be filmed primarily on green screen stages and is intended to be a long-term recurring opportunity for the right talent.
